There is a wide selection for the discerning book buyer to choose from including art, history, military history, poetry, natural history and books about Cornwall. Also paper-back fiction. Ideal holiday reading.
… Including a Children’s Section
The children’s section of the Book Shop is popular and the thunder of tiny feet upstairs in the book rooms is a regular feature of family visits. Best of all is the total silence when a child has found a book and is lying on the floor, wholly engrossed.
Apart from second-hand books, we also sell original paintings by Maggie O’Brien, Evocative Cornwall Calendars and Christmas cards, a small selection of local cards, Boddington’s strawberry jam, Origin Ground Coffee and beautiful hand sewn leatherwork by Bosorne Leatherwork.
